D.C. Salmon Week

In September restaurants around the nation's capital will highlight Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon on their menus as part of BBRSDA's Salmon Week. BBRSDA’s marketing team hosts salmon weeks in Washington D.C. and Seattle to raise the profile of our harvest with chefs and diners alike.

This year in D.C. there will also be fishermen present for demos of sockeye products in Whole Foods Markets. The timing of Salmon week lines up with salmon advocacy meetings with elected officials and Bristol Bay Native Corporation's Salmon Celebration event with Alaska’s delegation and other guests. It will be a Bristol Bay salmon-centric week in the nations capital!
