Introducing the Bristol Bay Forever Act
/We are thrilled to announce that Speaker Bryce Edgmon (I-Dillingham) and Representative Andy Josephson (D-Anchorage) have introduced the Bristol Bay Forever Act. If passed, this act would safeguard the Bristol Bay region from all large-scale metallic sulfide mining and ensure the future of the largest salmon fishery on the planet that generates tens of thousands of high-paying, dependable jobs. We thank Speaker Edgmon and Representative Josephson for their leadership on this issue and look forward to working with our state leaders to advance this critical legislation.
