The Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association (BBRSDA) is headed into 2024 with strong momentum from the past year’s marketing efforts.

In celebration of the return of Bristol Bay Fishermen and another successful harvest, numerous restaurants across the greater Washington D.C. and Seattle areas come together to serve Bristol Bay Sockeye on their menu for a week.

OBI Seafoods’ Mark Palmer and Trident Seafoods’ Allen Kimball provided a look at Alaska seafood markets in this recent webinar.

We are offering the opportunity for Bristol Bay direct marketers to participate in a zero-cost, RFM Low-Risk Chain of Custody pilot.

We have the opportunity to pair fisherman ambassadors with Bristol Bay sockeye salmon demos happening in Whole Foods Market stores in the Seattle area during the week of November 6-12.

The BBRSDA Board voted on October 10th to appoint Matt DeWitte to the board of directors in recently vacated seat E for the reminder of that seat’s term.

We are asking the federal delegation to take some actions to support US fishermen, and the more fishermen constituents they hear from (you!) the stronger our voice. Letter and talking points to send your delegation.

The Alaska Department of Fish & Game has released its annual season summary for Bristol Bay.

The ballot, the yellow envelope, and signed blue envelope must be included within the green return envelope and mailed by Saturday October 7th
