In celebration of the return of Bristol Bay Fishermen and another successful harvest, numerous restaurants across the greater Washington D.C. and Seattle areas come together to serve Bristol Bay Sockeye on their menu for a week.

OBI Seafoods’ Mark Palmer and Trident Seafoods’ Allen Kimball provided a look at Alaska seafood markets in this recent webinar.

The BBRSDA Board voted on October 10th to appoint Matt DeWitte to the board of directors in recently vacated seat E for the reminder of that seat’s term.

The Alaska Marine Safety and Education Association (AMSEA) is working on a project to improve commercial fishing safety and is seeking focus group participants

Several fishermen have recently reported receiving letters and an invoice from the USDA, requesting repayment of the funds that they received as part of the Seafood Trade Relief Program (STRP) back in 2020.
