Members are welcome and encouraged to attend BBRSDA Board meetings, either in-person, telephonically, or via video conference. Members wishing to obtain video conference or call info can do so by emailing info@bbrsda.com or calling 907-677-2371 at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. We cannot guarantee telephonic meeting access for requests made with less notice.

For both board and committee meetings, your input is always welcome at board@bbrsda.com (but please submit written comments at least 24 hours in advance of meetings, verbal comments are also accepted during meetings).

Lilani Dunn

With almost 20 years of experience, Lilani Dunn is a food marketing & PR professional with a demonstrated history of working in both the private and public sectors of the Food industry. In March 2020, she took the position heading the marketing program for the Bristol Bay Regional Seafood Development Association with the mission to strengthen the demand for Bristol Bay sockeye salmon at the distributor, retailer, and consumer level, and to expand into new channels and markets. She oversees the Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon brand, which showcases the quality, origin, sustainability, and health benefits of this premium product. Prior she led the marketing for Orca Bay Foods and worked for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI). Before moving to the PNW, Lilani worked for Dole Food Company supporting all marketing including their fresh, frozen, and packaged product offerings.

Becky Machain

Becky joined BBRSDA in February 2019 as Financial Administrator and manages the day-to-day budgeting and finance operations as well as provides support for the administration of the other program areas. Before joining the BBRSDA Becky was Finance Director for an affordable housing non-profit in Southern California and a Senior Financial Analyst at a Fortune 100 company giving her 15+ years experience.

Frances Bursch

A lifelong Bristol Bay fisherman, Frances has spent her lifetime of fishing seasons on the Ugashik and Egegik rivers. She has a decade of experience managing programs for different nonprofit organizations focused on sustainable resource development and environmental and human health. Frances also ran a small business selling Bristol Bay salmon in her community.  Frances started working for BBRSDA in 2020, she manages BBRSDA’s quality, outreach and sustainability programs.

Mariah Clemens

Program Coordinator

Mariah is an environmental scientist and program coordinator with a passion for connecting data, people, and ecosystems. With a master’s in Environmental Science and dual bachelor’s degrees in Ecology and Biochemistry, she brings a balance of field expertise, technical writing, and program management. Mariah lends her skill set to support all of BBRSDA’s program areas.

In addition to her professional background, Mariah is a Bristol Bay drift owner and operator and has fished Bristol Bay since 2011.
