Written testimony is an important way for individual fishermen and permit holders to ensure their voices are part of the public record ahead of the Board’s deliberations.

In September restaurants around the nation's capital will highlight Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon on their menus as part of BBRSDA's Salmon Week. BBRSDA’s marketing team hosts salmon weeks in Washington D.C. and Seattle to raise the profile of our harvest with chefs and diners alike.

Speaker Bryce Edgmon (I-Dillingham) and Representative Andy Josephson (D-Anchorage) have introduced the Bristol Bay Forever Act in Alaska. If passed, this act would safeguard the Bristol Bay region from all large-scale metallic sulfide mining and ensure the future of the largest salmon fishery on the planet.
