Comment Period Open for Nuyakuk River Hydroelectric Project Draft License Application
The Nushagak Electric and Telephone Cooperative filed the Draft License Application (DLA) with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the Nuyakuk River Hydroelectric Project. The 90-day comment period is open until November 16, 2026.
BBRSDA does not support or oppose the project and are posting this as courtesy to our members who may want to submit a comment.

How to Comment as an individual:*
- Go to FERC eComment.
- Enter your name, mailing address, email, and optionally your phone number.
- FERC will email you a confirmation/link. Check spam if you don’t see it.
- Follow the email link.
- When asked for the docket/project number, enter:
P-14873 and press Search. - Select the P-14873-001 proceeding.
- Write or paste your comment into the text box.
- Submit it and keep the confirmation email.You can submit up to 10,000 characters, and you don’t need a FERC account if you’re commenting as an individual. The comment becomes part of the official FERC administrative record and will be available through eLibrary.*Those wishing to submit longer comments, attachments, or filings on behalf of an organization should use FERC’s eFiling system, which requires an eRegister account.
