On July 15th, fifteen members of Congress sent a letter to the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, urging cessation of the flawed approval process for the genetically engineered (GE) salmon known as Frankenfish.

The BBRSDA assisted in drafting of the letter, and contributed language concerning the environmental and socio-economic risks that proliferation of GE fish pose to wild fish, commercial and recreational fishermen, and natural ecosystems.

The Congressional letter is available below in a PDF.
